These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GenRankEngine (“GenRankEngine”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), including our website, diagnostic tools, and subscription-based services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
GenRankEngine provides a SaaS platform that measures and analyzes how software products appear in AI-generated answers across third-party AI systems. The Service provides diagnostic and observational insights, not control over third-party AI models.
We do not operate, train, or modify any third-party AI systems.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are licensed on a single-user basis unless an enterprise agreement is in place.
You agree not to share access credentials or allow unauthorized use of your account.
3. Free Tier and Usage Limits
GenRankEngine may offer a free tier or trial access. Free tier usage is subject to limitations, including but not limited to:
- A limited number of diagnostic scans per entity
- Rate limits and usage caps
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the free tier if we detect abuse, circumvention of limits, or activity that materially impacts system stability.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to access the Service through automated means not explicitly supported
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary system logic beyond what is permitted by law
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless canceled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refunds policy.
We may update pricing from time to time. Any pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will not affect the current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, designs, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of GenRankEngine.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as explicitly permitted under these Terms.
7. No Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
GenRankEngine does not warrant that:
- AI model outputs will be accurate, complete, or consistent
- AI visibility signals will remain stable over time
- Use of the Service will result in increased visibility, rankings, or revenue
AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and subject to change without notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenRankEngine shall not be liable for:
- Changes or fluctuations in AI-generated outputs
- Errors, hallucinations, or omissions produced by third-party AI systems
- Decisions made based on insights or diagnostics provided by the Service
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to GenRankEngine in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if continued use poses a risk to system integrity or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
